We are working with a fast paced, growing entrepreneurial company in Greensboro seeking to hire a Graphics Technician to join their team

The Graphics Technician bridges creative design and physical/digital production, supporting construction teams, project managers, and marketing departments with visual materials, site signage, and client presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Visual Production: “perform a variety of technical duties involved in the creation and design of original computer-generated graphic artwork for various print and digital applications, signage, cut-out lettering and mock up”
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, architects, and site supervisors to produce accurate safety signage, branding banners, and project mock-ups.
• File Preparation: Prepare print-ready files, manage output workflows, and ensure design alignment with corporate or project brand standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain large-format printers, vinyl cutters, laminators, and digital finishing tools.
• Vendor Coordination: “Confer with printers regarding stock, colors, and other details. Obtain price quotes and delivery information from outside printing and graphic vendors.”

Qualifications & Skills

• Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with CAD or basic technical drawing software.
• Technical Aptitude: Hands-on experience operating print production hardware, plotters, and finishing equipment.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in proofreading layouts, scaling measurements for physical installation, and managing file formats.

Education & Experience: High school diploma with vocational training or a certificate/degree in graphic arts, multimedia design, or a related field, plus 1–3 years of practical experience.

This is an on-site role and salary depends on experience
