Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team in the Smithville, MO 64089 area. This role is essential in creating a positive guest experience by providing excellent service, handling reservations, and ensuring smooth front office operations.

This position is primarily based at the Smithville, MO 64089 location; however, there may be opportunities to work at other nearby hotel properties within a 20-minute drive, based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Check guests in and out efficiently using the property management system
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications
  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly
  • Process payments, verify billing, and maintain accurate records
  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of hotel front desk experience required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Availability to work weekdays and weekends based on business needs

Schedule

  • Shifts may include 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM or 11 PM - 7 AM
  • Schedule includes Monday through Friday and weekends, based on business needs

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS)
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
