Job description

Summary Statement:
Security officer K9: This position will ensure safety and security to Resorts World property utilizing K9. K9 Handlers will respond to potential emergency situations, medical incidents, disturbances on property.

PrimaryJob Duties:- Includes but is not limited to:

  • Maintain the health and safety of Resorts World K9
  • Maintain the upkeep of K-9 Kennels and Transportation Kennel
  • Respond to unattended packages alert security management if needed.
  • Respond to emergency situations.
  • Work closely with law enforcement personnel to ensure safety to the property.
  • Prepare written incident reports and documentation.
  • Operate company vehicles.
  • Complete a 40hr Security Academy within 30 days of hire.
  • Pass quarterly K-9 training and yearly certification.
  • Knowledge of Radio calls/ Manage emergency calls.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays and Black outs.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Minimum high school diploma.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • 2 yrs. previous K-9 handling experience.

Preferred:

  • Military/K9 handler experience

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to obtain the following:
    • Nevada Gaming Registration
    • Alcohol Awareness Card
    • Nevada Drivers' License
    • CPR
