K&O Property Management And Rental

K&O Property Management is looking for an experienced residential leasing agent. A qualified candidate must have strong communication skills, highly organized, have excellent time management skills, and have a high attention to detail.  This position will often be the first point of contact with potential renters and will need to always maintain a friendly/professional attitude. Additionally, the leasing agent will be expected to interact with current tenants via phone calls, texts, emails, and in person to answer any concerns and/or questions that may arise. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of leasing, South Dakota Codification Law, and Fair Housing laws.

Job Responsibilities

1.     Respond to all inquiries from advertisements with call, text and email.

2.     Schedule and conduct in person showings of rental properties.

3.     Assist in managing all aspects of the properties including tenant relations and resolving tenant issues.

4.     Assist in maintaining accurate records of tenant information, lease agreements and lease addendums.

5.     Knowledge of upcoming vacancies and the rental details of each of those properties

6.     Monthly Rent collections

7.     Ensure new tenants transfer utilities into their names.

8.     Lease preparations to include lease signings and preparing lease addendums- must be a licensed property manager to perform this task

9.     Prepare lease renewal offers.

10. Screen potential tenants for rentals.

11. Coordinate tenants’ move out inspections with the maintenance director.

12. Duties and job tasks may change at any time without notice.

Compensation and Hours

Work hours- 40 hours per week

Hours- 8am to 5pm

Hourly Rate-$24- $26 per hour (depending upon experience)

Monthly Mileage Payout 72.5 per hour

Must have a reliable vehicle to drive

Qualifications

Preferred 3 years of property management experience

Computer Skills- including excel, word, outlook and typing skills

Customer Service Experience (Preferred)

Yardie Breeze (Preferred)

Must pass a background check and credit check

Driver’s License

Associates or Bachelor Degree (Preferred)
