CDL-A Regional Truck Driver | Home Weekly | Newer Equipment
$2,500 Sign On/Retention Bonus
Hillyard, Inc. is hiring a CDL-A Regional Driver based out of St. Joseph, MO.
Looking for steady miles, newer equipment, and a schedule you can count on? Join a company that respects your time on the road and keeps you moving.
What Drivers Can Expect:
  1. ~135,000 miles/year – consistent, reliable routes
  2. Paid by mile + stop pay + annual performance bonus
  3. Home weekly (typically midweek return)
  4. Newer Class 8 sleeper tractors with ELD
  5. Planned routes with an average of 4 delivery stops + return load
  6. Access to 24/7 delivery locations (flexibility, less waiting)
What You’ll Do:
  1. Run regional routes across all 48 states
  2. Safely deliver and unload at scheduled and unattended stops
  3. Plan trips efficiently to meet delivery windows
  4. Use electric forklift / power dolly for unloading when needed
  5. Complete trip documentation and stay compliant with DOT regulations
  6. Operate onboard systems and maintain strong safety standards
What You Bring:
  1. Valid CDL-A license with 2+ years of experience
  2. Safe driving record and strong understanding of DOT/FMCSA regulations
  3. Experience with material handling equipment (preferred)
  4. Hazmat amp; Tanker endorsements (a plus)
  5. Experience with refrigerated or heated trailers (Thermo-King knowledge preferred)
