About the Position: You will serve as the Chief Data Officer (CDO), principal advisor to the Director for data management and governance within the Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division (DACID) Information Management Department (IMD) providing strategic technology leadership and enterprise IT service for DACID worldwide.Qualifications:

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1) Applying advanced policies and practices to resolve difficult technical issue to improve performance and productivity: 2) Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders in support of a data governance program that facilities the proper collection, ingestion, storage and use data. And 3) Analyzing policies and operations to assess and contribute to improving the Agency's decision making and investments as to which technologies to exploit.
The specialized experience must include, or be supplemented by, information technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined:
