Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement individualized therapy strategies tailored to the unique needs of clients through thorough assessments and evaluations.
  • Provide a range of therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term counseling.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including social workers and healthcare providers, to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for each client.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, adhering to ethical and legal standards to ensure client confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training seminars, and current mental health research to enhance skills and treatment effectiveness.

The LPC at Johnson's Harbor Therapy will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in various therapeutic modalities to cater to the diverse needs of clients.

  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, showcasing collaborative skills.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and related technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in community health settings and understanding of the challenges faced by underserved populations.
Compensation and Benefits

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
