Abrams Media is looking for an Executive Assistant to the CEO

Founded by Dan Abrams, Chief Legal Analyst at ABC News, host of On Patrol Live on Reelz and “The Dan Abrams Show” on SiriusXM, and founder of the restaurant Danny’s, Abrams Media owns and operates a growing portfolio of media properties reaching millions of users each month, including Mediaite and The Daily Pour. Its acquisitions include Law&Crime (acquired by Jellysmack in 2023) and Court TV.

About this role

This position reports directly to CEO Dan Abrams and will be responsible for managing a wide range of professional and personal responsibilities to help ensure his schedule, priorities, and day-to-day operations run smoothly. It will combine aspects of executive assistant work and personal assistant responsibilities. The person in this role must be flexible, a multi-tasker, organized, and well-versed in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

This person must be prepared to complete tasks such as:

• Manage, coordinate, and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel for executives
• Provide basic technical support (emails, printers, cellphones, TVs)
• Research potential projects/tasks as needed
• Oversee various appointments and personnel/contractors (for restaurant and household)
• Send/distribute mail, receive packages offsite, complete occasional post office runs
• Support other team members by providing project assistance as needed
• Handle ad hoc requests and special projects as needed, including occasional restaurant operations (menu changes, website updates, PR-related requests, etc.) and household matters (repairs, deliveries, etc.)

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Professional and personable demeanor when interacting with executives, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Flexibility - able to handle tasks both in-office and offsite as they arise during the workday
• Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Discretion when dealing with confidential information
• Independence - comfortable tackling and researching problems and identifying solutions with minimal guidance

Salary:

• $60,000 plus benefits and vacation time
