Job Summary
A Multifamily Start-Up Technician is responsible for preparing newly constructed or renovated apartment communities for occupancy. This role involves inspecting units and common areas, identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and cosmetic issues, and ensuring all systems are fully operational before residents move in. The technician works closely with construction teams, property management, and vendors to complete punch lists, perform quality control checks, and meet project deadlines. Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.

What You'll Do
  • Inspect newly built or renovated units for HVAC issues
  • Test all systems to make sure they work correctly before move-in
  • Work with contractors, vendors, and construction teams to resolve problems
  • Perform quality control checks in units and common areas (hallways, amenities, offices)
  • Ensure units meet safety standards and company expectations
  • Help turn units quickly so they’re ready for leasing
  • Track and report progress, issues, and completed work to management
  • Ensure work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
  • 2 + Years of HVAC Service experience in Multifamily as a Start Up Technician
  • EPA Universal Certification Required
  • High level of accountability
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computing skills and ability to use a computer, laptop, or tablet.
  • Service Titan experience is preferred
  • Valid driver's license amp; able to pass a background check
  • Must be willing to travel locally amp; stay overnight if a project requires
Must be able to pass a background check, and drug tests prior to and throughout employment
