  • Crawl Space Installation Crew Member — Job Description

    Company: Crawl Logic (crawl space encapsulation, repair & moisture control specialist)

    Role Summary:

    A Crawl Space Installation Crew Member works as part of a hands-on field team performing professional crawl space remediation, moisture control, and structural enhancement work in residential homes. This is a physically active, entry-to-mid level role focused on quality workmanship, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • OnSite Installation & Repair
  • Assist with crawl space encapsulation systems, including installation of vapor barriers, proper sealing, and high-quality materials.

    Install moisture control systems such as dehumidifiers, drainage components, and sump pumps.

    Perform basic structural support work, such as assisting in joist repair or support reinforcement when needed.

    Help clean and prepare crawl spaces prior to installation (removing debris, old insulation, and moisture damage residues).

  • Team Work & Project Execution
  • Work under the direction of crew leads or supervisors to complete daily installation tasks with efficiency and quality.

    Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.

    Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are used correctly and stored responsibly.

  • Safety & Equipment Handling
  • Follow all safety procedures related to confined space work, use of PPE (respirators, gloves, knee pads, etc.), and tool/equipment operation.

    Communicate issues or safety concerns promptly to the team lead.

  • Customer Interaction & Professionalism
  • Represent the company professionally during customer interactions on-site.

    Assist in explaining work being done if customers have questions.

  • Qualifications & Skills
  • Physical & Work Requirements
  • Comfortable working in tight, confined crawl spaces and variable conditions (dust, humidity, wet soil).

    Able to lift and carry heavy materials, climb ladders, and navigate uneven terrain.

    Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled hours.

  • Optional/Preferred (but often not required)

    Crew members predominantly work outdoors or under structures, performing physically demanding tasks in residential crawl spaces often with limited headroom and varied surfaces. Strong communication and teamwork help deliver high-quality results for homeowners
