We’re hiring a 1099 contractor for commercial and residential service work. You need to be a high-level journeyman or master equivalent. The work is high-end, so it has to be done super clean. We provide a fully stocked work truck that you take home every night, plus all heavy tools. You pick up your helper, check your jobs on Jobber each morning, and get paid per hour. Pay range: $35 to $40 per hour, based on experience.
Responsibilities:
-Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
-Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues
-Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
-Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
-Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations
-Supervise and assist apprentices as needed
Requirements:
-Journeyman Electrician or equivalent skill level
-Minimum 5 years experience in the electrical trade, with at least 5 years in residential/commercial service work
-Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
-Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Experience training or managing apprentices is a plus

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
