J & H Oil Company’s transport team represents the foundation of its commitment to safety and integrity.  Drivers are responsible for safely and efficiently transporting fuel from regional terminals to retail stations or commercial sites throughout Michigan and Northern Indiana while exhibiting a commitment to professionalism.  J & H Oil Company operates the finest equipment, meticulously maintained to match its company image.

J & H Transport Drivers:

• Safely operate equipment in compliance with all company policies, laws and regulations.

• Load, transport, and unload each shipment in an efficient manner.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and equipment managers.

• Maintain a clean equipment interior and exterior and report maintenance needs promptly.

• Are mechanically competent and have a firm understanding of their equipment.

• Properly complete all load-related documentation in an accurate fashion.

Requirements:

Successful performance of these responsibilities requires the following attributes and / or qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

• One (1) year of Class A driving experience preferred

• Commercial Drivers License, Class A

• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements

• Minimum 21 years of age

• Must pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen

• Ability to work nights

• Reliable time management

• Effective communication skills

• A strong work ethic with a commitment to succeed
