Job description

Ivar's, the premier seafood restaurant company in the Pacific Northwest, is currently interviewing for a full-time General Manager for our new, soon-to-open quick-service location at 4901 Point Fosdick Drive in Gig Harbor (in the Point Fosdick Square shopping center). The wage for this position will be between $75,000 and $82,500 per year, plus our GM will be eligible for monthly bonus potential based on the restaurant's performance.
Our General Manager responsibilities include:
  • Running the restaurant
  • Hiring, training, and developing other managers and employees
  • Maintaining Ivar's company standards for service, product quality, and cleanliness
  • Ensuring unit profitability

Candidates must have at least 3 years of restaurant management experience (quick-service experience preferred), an outgoing personality, a strong work ethic, and open availability.
For the manager hired, Ivar's premium benefits package includes:
  • Excellent pay with bonus potential
  • Reasonable operating hours with no overnight shifts
  • Opportunities for additional training and advancement into higher level positions
  • Annual employment loyalty bonus
  • Paid holidays (6 per year)
  • Paid vacation time (earning 1 week after first year of employment)
  • Paid sick time (earning 1 hour for every 40 hours worked and available after 90 days of employment)
  • Paid family and medical leave (qualifying for up to 12 weeks per incident after working 820 hours over the course of a year)
