About Ironmark Fuel Services;
Ironmark Fuel Services is a locally owned fuel services company providing on-site fueling solutions to commercial and industrial customers throughout the Bay Area.
We support construction sites, commercial fleets, equipment operators, generator users, and other businesses that depend on reliable fuel delivery and responsive service. Our services include diesel, unleaded gasoline, DEF, propane, lubricants, wet hosing, and bulk fuel tank fills.
As we continue to grow, we are expanding our outside sales team with experienced professionals who know how to develop new business in competitive, relationship-driven markets.
 

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced B2B Petroleum Territory Development Manager to develop new commercial business throughout the East Bay.
This is a true outside business development position—not a traditional account management role.
Success in this position requires someone who enjoys creating business from the ground up through consistent prospecting, cold calling, jobsite visits, door-to-door outreach, networking, and relationship building.
You will be based out of our Oakland office and spend significant time in the field identifying and developing new opportunities throughout the East Bay.
If you prefer primarily servicing existing accounts, inbound leads, or working remotely, this is likely not the right opportunity. If you enjoy opening doors, developing relationships, winning business from competitors, and building a territory, we want to hear from you.
 

What You'll Do:

• Prospect and develop new commercial and industrial customers throughout the East Bay.
• Conduct consistent outside sales, cold calling, in-person prospecting, and jobsite visits.
• Build a strong pipeline of qualified B2B opportunities.
• Develop new business within construction, fleet, equipment, industrial, rental, generator, and related markets.
• Sell on-site fueling solutions including diesel, unleaded gasoline, DEF, propane, and lubricants.
• Identify customer needs for wet hosing, bulk fuel tank fills, generator fueling, equipment fueling, and fleet fueling.
• Build relationships with construction managers, fleet managers, operations leaders, business owners, rental companies, and other key decision-makers.
• Identify and penetrate accounts that already have established fuel suppliers.
• Differentiate Ironmark based on service, reliability, responsiveness, and overall customer value—not simply price.
• Convert greenfield prospects into recurring, long-term customers.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline activity, prospecting activity, and sales forecasts.
• Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to service.
• Continue developing accounts after the initial sale by identifying opportunities for additional services and increased fuel volume.
• Meet established sales, revenue, and territory development goals.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of B2B outside sales experience in fuel services, construction services, fleet services, industrial services, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated success generating new business through cold outreach and field prospecting.
• Experience selling in competitive, relationship-driven B2B markets.
• Proven ability to develop new accounts rather than relying primarily on an existing book of business or inbound leads.
• Comfortable walking into jobsites and businesses, introducing yourself, identifying decision-makers, and creating opportunities.
• Experience breaking into accounts that already have established suppliers or vendor relationships.
• Ability to sell services and business solutions based on value rather than competing solely on price.
• Comfortable communicating with both operational and leadership-level decision-makers.
• Strong pipeline management, organization, follow-through, and personal accountability.
• Comfortable using CRM systems to document activity and manage opportunities.
• Valid driver's license and ability to regularly travel throughout the East Bay territory.

• Uncomfortable visiting construction sites, fleet operations, or industrial customers.
• Looking primarily to manage an existing book of accounts.
• New to B2B or industrial/service-based sales.

Work Location:
This is an in-person, field-based position operating out of the Oakland office and covering the East Bay territory. This is not a remote position.
