Position Overview

Intermountain Healthcare & Recovery Center is seeking dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time remote position located in Edison, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans collaboratively with clients that align with their unique goals and therapeutic needs.
  • Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate healing and coping strategies.
  • Provide educational resources and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices.
  • Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness and endorsement of recovery.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless integrated care for clients.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on advancements in mood disorders and treatment methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a varied client base experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and more. Your work will not only aid individuals but also support families affected by emotional distress. As an LMFT, you will contribute to creating profound and lasting changes in your clients' lives, empowering them to navigate their challenges effectively.

Qualifications
  • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • A compassionate and nonjudgmental attitude towards clients and their experiences.
Preferred Experience

Experience in providing therapeutic support to families and couples is highly desirable. Familiarity with a diverse array of treatment modalities, and the ability to adapt therapeutic practices to suit different client needs will benefit applicants. Candidates with experience in trauma-informed care or addiction counseling will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus. We offer a comprehensive benefit package that includes:
