Position Overview

Integrity Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at our outpatient rehabilitation center located in Old Greenwich, Connecticut. In this role, you will be instrumental in partnering with patients to enhance their mobility and functionality, significantly impacting their quality of life. Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center offers a dynamic and supportive onsite environment where our physical therapists work closely with each other and patient aides to ensure comprehensive care. Our multidisciplinary team environment fosters collaboration, allowing for shared knowledge and best practices that enhance patient outcomes. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing an excellent work-life balance. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of each patient's needs and treatment goals at the initial visit.
  • Manage a patient caseload efficiently, providing focused care to one individual per hour, ensuring optimal attention and quality of service.
  • Implement and adapt comprehensive care plans that include various treatment techniques tailored to individual conditions.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions to improve patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall functionality.
  • Explore non-pharmaceutical approaches to treatment that prioritize patient autonomy and contribute to pain management, thereby reducing reliance on medications and unnecessary surgical interventions.
  • Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting plans as necessary to meet patients' evolving needs.
  • Document all patient interactions and treatment services meticulously to maintain high standards of patient care and compliance.
  • Inspire and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey to adopt healthy lifestyles, emphasizing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals and other healthcare providers for integrated patient care and referrals when needed.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation, ranging from post-surgical patients to those managing chronic pain or injuries. Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is a prerequisite for this role.
  • Candidate must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Connecticut.
  • Essential candidates should have a clear professional record with no history of board sanctions or disciplinary actions.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development are essential.
  • Experience in utilizing EMR Software, particularly WebPT, is advantageous for efficient patient data management.
Preferred Experience

We require a minimum of two years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Candidates with further specialized training or certifications in orthopedic therapy will be given preference, as will those with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment dedicated to patient care excellence.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to USD 140,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications.
