Responsibilities

• Source used cars, trucks, and new brand franchise vehicles through direct public purchases, dealer-to-dealer deals, and online platforms
• Negotiate purchase prices to maximize profitability
• Analyze market trends and vehicle demand to make informed buying decisions
• Manage inventory levels to align with sales objectives
• Track sales performance and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly
• Engage and maintain relationships with customers and sellers
• Conduct local travel to inspect and acquire vehicles

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous professional experience in vehicle purchasing is preferred
• Strong knowledge of the automobile market and vehicle valuation
• Effective negotiation skills with buyers and sellers
• Customer service orientation and communication skills
• Familiarity with online vehicle marketplaces such as Facebook, Cars.com, Autotrader, and CarGurus
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Strong record keeping and organizational skills
