Work Environment

This role is designed to provide flexibility, operating primarily in a remote capacity, which allows for a healthy work-life balance. However, our outpatient office in Colorado Springs serves as a collaborative hub where team members can meet occasionally for supervision, training, and professional development. Your contribution will be enhanced by a multidisciplinary team atmosphere, where you can share insights and strategies with colleagues who are equally passionate about mental health advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments and develop individualized therapeutic plans that address specific mental health needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients, including individuals, couples, and families, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solutions-focused approaches.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the confidentiality and rights of clients are upheld.
• Engage in regular supervision meetings and collaborative case discussions to enhance care coordination and treatment efficacy.
• Stay informed about developments in the mental health field by participating in workshops and professional development sessions, directly contributing to the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this position, you will work directly with a diverse client base, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relational difficulties. Many clients may face barriers in accessing quality mental health care, making your role crucial in helping them navigate their challenges and achieve healthier outcomes. Your expertise will help articulate constructive pathways for those in critical situations.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Colorado.
• At least two years of clinical experience in a counseling setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and other relevant digital tools to manage client information.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse clientele.
• A demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical considerations pertaining to mental health practice.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance abuse treatment is highly desirable.
• Previous experience working within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic client care.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, dependent on experience and caseload. In addition to attractive compensation, employees will also benefit from:
