Job description

Position Title: IT Management Tool Analyst
Position Type: Full-time, On-Site
Location: Chantilly, VA
Clearance: Active TS/SCI CI Poly
Overview
Seeking a discerning technology professional who possesses both the technical acumen and strategic vision necessary to optimize our IT management infrastructure and capabilities.  This role demands an individual who navigates the complex landscape of enterprise IT tools with both precision and perspective, transforming disparate capabilities into a cohesive, efficient operational framework.
Core Competencies
The ideal candidate will demonstrate comprehensive experience with, or substantive knowledge of, fundamental IT management tools that form the backbone of modern enterprise, systems, networks, security, cyber, and network operations.  This expertise encompasses the essential capabilities required for the effective management and continuous monitoring of:
  • Network Infrastructure - ensuring connectivity, performance, and reliability across routers, switches, firewalls, and cryptographic devices
  • Firewall Systems - maintaining controlled interfaces, security postures, and security/access controls
  • Application Ecosystems – overseeing software performance, availability, and integration
  • Server Environments – managing both physical and virtual server deployments and infrastructures
  • Desktop Operations – supporting end-user computing solutions
Primary Responsibilities
The cornerstone of this position lies in the ability to conduct a thorough, analytical assessment of existing IT architectures and their associated management toolsets.  The candidate will possess the intellectual rigor to identify redundancies, recognize overlapping capabilities and discern opportunities where operational efficiencies may be realized.  This requires not merely technical knowledge, but the capacity to synthesize complex information into actionable insights that drive organizational value.
This role calls for an individual who combines technical depth with strategic breadth – someone who can research both the granular details of tool functionality and the broader implications for organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements –
  • STEM degree in IT management, operations, computer science, data science, cyber
