The Mathews Agency is seeking a dynamic and client-focused Financial Services Consultant to grow and manage individual client portfolios. In this role, you will act as a trusted financial consultant, helping individuals and families secure and protect their futures through comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and tailored life insurance strategies. The ideal candidate possesses a strong entrepreneurial spirit and exceptional relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and onboard individual clients through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
• Financial Services: Conduct deep-dive assessments of clients' financial situations, goals, risk tolerance, and life stages to tailor customized financial solutions.
• Insurance Solutions: Evaluate client liability and legacy goals to recommend and place appropriate life, disability, and critical illness insurance policies.
• Relationship Retention: Conduct regular portfolio reviews with clients to adapt their financial plans to life changes, economic shifts, and evolving goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, telemarketing, or business development.
• Strong proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce Cloud or similar platforms; experience with sales automation tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts clearly and persuasively over the phone.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively, close deals, and manage customer relationships with professionalism and confidence.
• Familiarity with sales technology adoption, including outbound calling strategies, and sales automation technologies.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high levels of motivation, work ethic and organization.
