📣 We’re Hiring: Funeral Home Associate

Beyers Funeral Home, Purcell Chapel in Bushnell, Florida, is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated individual to join our team.

This position supports grieving families and helps ensure that every service is conducted with dignity, care, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting families during arrangements and services

• Preparing chapels, parlors, caskets, and floral displays

• Driving funeral vehicles and assisting with transportation

• Preparing obituaries, service programs, and other documents

• Maintaining clean, organized, and well-stocked facilities

• Assisting with service setup and breakdown

Position details:

📍 Bushnell, Florida

💵 $16.00–$18.00 per hour

🕒 Full-time, part-time, and on-call opportunities

📚 Professional development assistance

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours. Previous funeral-home experience or mortuary science education is preferred but not required.

This role may include evenings, weekends, holidays, extended periods of standing, and lifting or moving heavy objects.
