With a commitment to providing high-quality mental health services, we offer a flexible work environment that includes the option for remote engagement. Here at Impact, we prioritize the well-being of both our clients and our team members.

About the Organization

At Impact Learning & Development Behavioral Health, located in beautiful San Diego, California, we specialize in providing comprehensive mental health services to our community. Our mission is to empower individuals facing mental health challenges to lead fulfilling lives. We believe in a collaborative approach to therapy, placing emphasis on professional development and personal growth for all staff members. As part of our team, you will be part of an organization that values innovation, respect, and dedication.

Work Environment

This full-time position allows for a hybrid work setting, enabling you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home or our outpatient office as needed. The flexibility to set your own schedule is a crucial aspect of this role, designed to foster a healthy work-life balance. Our culture encourages collaboration and support among team members to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and developing personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing the unique needs of each client.
  • Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Supporting clients as they navigate complex challenges such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other behavioral health issues.
  • Maintaining accurate and organized documentation, ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulations.
  • Collaborating effectively with fellow team members, when necessary, to optimize treatment effectiveness and provide holistic care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse group of clients facing a variety of mental health issues. The outpatient setting requires a strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities, as you will interact with individuals from different backgrounds and experiences. A focus on creating a safe, supportive, and trusting therapeutic environment is essential in assisting clients on their road to recovery.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • An active license (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC) issued by the state of California.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in therapy and case management.
  • Strong documentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, familiarity with cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), or other recognized evidence-based practices will be advantageous. Experience working with diverse populations and understanding their unique challenges is a plus, enhancing your ability to connect with your client base.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time therapy position offers a competitive salary range between USD 85,000 and 117,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance options, retirement plans, and generous paid time off to ensure your well-being.
