Position Overview

Impact Learning & Development Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Riverside, California. This full-time position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting with minimal in-office requirements while primarily focusing on outpatient therapies. We invite qualified LMFTs, LCSWs, and LPCCs with a minimum of two years of relevant experience to take the next step in their counseling career.

Work Environment

The mental health therapist will primarily work remotely, allowing for greater flexibility in managing work and personal commitments. However, our outpatient office located in Riverside, California, remains a resource for periodic team meetings and essential client interactions as necessary. The position demands a strong commitment to maintaining professional practices while adapting to an evolving virtual therapy space.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify mental health needs, challenges, and treatment goals.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and client feedback.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, offering support for a range of mental health issues including PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and therapy sessions in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
• Engage in professional collaboration with other mental health professionals and specialists as needed to ensure comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a diverse client population, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds and various ages. Our clients may present with a wide range of mental health issues, including trauma, substance abuse, and behavioral disorders. As a mental health therapist, your impact will be felt directly as you help clients navigate their unique challenges towards recovery and stability.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a behavioral health field, such as psychology or social work, is required.
• An active and unrestricted LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license in the state of California.
• Two or more years of experience providing therapy in an outpatient setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and other stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural sensitivities in therapeutic practices.
• Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), or similar frameworks.
• Prior experience documenting client progress using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits
