Job description
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our Peoria, Illinois Team focusing on providing high quality Occupational Health patient care. This position is Monday-Friday, no call!
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Provide all necessary treatments for acute injuries to include prescribing medication and necessary wound care.
- Order and review appropriate imaging
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patient.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Qualifications:
- Completion of a reputable nurse practitioner program
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical field
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
