Regulatory Specialist
Department: Regulatory/Safety
Reports To: Regulatory Manager
Position Scope:
This position will encompass participation in many aspects of regulatory and safety departments for Zenex International.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review product labels and promotional materials for compliance with several regulatory systems as well as for grammar and content.
  • Outline necessary changes and communicate them effectively to the team of graphic designers.
  • Learn applicable laws, regulations, and industrial standards for regulatory compliance.
  • Learn label and associated literature compliance for US Health amp; Safety authority requirements (i.e. OSHA, EPA, State Consumer Products Regulations, FDA Cosmetic Regulations, etc.).
  • Aptitude to create and edit Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Ingredient Disclosure Forms, and Product Data Sheets (PDS).
Qualifications:
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Great attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Strong organizational and procedural work habits.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Shipping classification is a plus.
  • Obtained a degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Chemistry, or related field.
  • One year of related experience is preferred.
  • Ability to travel to facilities to conduct safety inspections.
