About IFG

IFG delivers integrated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions for complex industrial and advanced manufacturing projects. Our in‑house teams partner closely with clients to navigate technical complexity, manage risk, and deliver safe, constructible, and cost‑effective facilities.

Position Summary

The Engineering Project Manager (EPM) is accountable for the engineering scope, technical integrity, and engineering execution of assigned EPC projects. The EPM serves as IFG’s technical representative to clients, vendors, and subcontractors and is responsible for ensuring engineering deliverables are safe, compliant, constructible, and aligned with project cost and schedule objectives.

The EPM does not own the overall project contract, commercial terms, or total project budget. Instead, the EPM partners closely with the Project Manager (PM), who retains responsibility for overall project delivery, cost, and schedule. Together, the EPM and PM function as a unified project leadership team.

  • Review vendor submittals and technical documentation.
  • Provide engineering support during procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.
  • Participate in field reviews and resolve technical issues encountered during construction.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure engineering designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.
  • Support hazard reviews, constructability reviews, and quality assurance processes.
