What You'll Do
- Lead by example: launch new cases, introduce permanent caregivers to families, and model bestpractice care techniques.
- Provide handson care: assist clients with personal hygiene, mobility, light exercise, meals, housekeeping, errands, and medication reminders.
- Ensure quality & safety: complete homesafety assessments, conduct routine qualityassurance visits, and document planofcare updates for the Care Manager.
- Train & onboard caregivers: deliver oneonone coaching, skills refreshers, and ongoing competency checks.
- Serve on the oncall rotation: triage caregiver callouts, fill urgent shifts, and resolve client concerns after hours. Caregiver Lead will be on call Saturday and Sunday. You should be ready to step in to provide hands-on care, guidance, and support for both clients and team members. Must live in the Dupage/Will County area.
- Problemsolve in real time: address changes in client condition, escalate issues, and keep families informed.
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of professional caregiving, HHA, CNA, or homehealth experience (lead/supervisory duties a plus)
- Proven ability to coach peers and communicate effectively with clients, families, and clinical staff
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Must have full knowledge of all types of care (bed-bound and dementia care) Gait belt and Hoyer trained
- Techsavvy enough to document care notes in a mobile app or EMR
- Compassionate, ethical, and calm under pressure-professional in every scenario
- Live within the Dupage or Will county area
- Willing to drive within the Dupage and Will county areas
