Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Shrewsbury, Massachusetts

Full time - Rotating 12-hour shifts

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are currently in need of an operator who has at least 2 years of experience working in a production plant environment / manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating, maintaining and cleaning the onsite equipment and related systems. This role will be reporting to and working closely with the lead operator. You need to be able to operate conveyors and process equipment, perform preventive maintenance, repairs and maintain a clean and safe environment. You will prepare and maintain logs, checklists and schedules as well as read, understand and apply information, such as lockout/tagout procedures, safety and environmental rules, job hazard analyses, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Willing to work rotating shifts.

A plus is if you have a Hoisting License (2A-1C) . If not training and licensing will be  provided.

This position is both in the plant and outside in all weather conditions. you must be will in to work outside in the heat of summer and the cold of winter.

• Top of the line pay (at least $24 per hour for an experienced and qualified operator) and up to $26 per hour for the right candidate  with experience working on conveyors, mechanical aptitude, and experience splicing belts.
