The Doubletree by Hilton Rosemont hotel is located one mile from O'Hare International Airport and just minutes from the Kennedy Expressway and CTA Blue line.
Requirements
The BC Cafe Barista is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality coffee and beverage products, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the cafe, and ensuring guests enjoy a welcoming environment that reflects the hotel's brand standards.
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to We Proudly Serve Starbucks recipes and quality standards.
- Handle cash and credit transactions following company cash-handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked cafe area, including dining, condiment, and preparation stations.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Support daily cafe operations, including opening and closing duties.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to guests when requested.
- Flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays
Uphold all brand policies, appearance standards, and customer service expectations
