Hewn Winnetka

Hewn, an acclaimed independent artisan bakery featured nationally, is hiring Front-of-House (FOH) staff for our location in Winnetka. If you thrive in a team environment and enjoy working with great people, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Barista experience is preferred.
We're looking for dependable and highly organized individuals who are early risers. Experience in busy cafe settings is a strong asset. Note that this is not a summer job-we are looking for staff who can be with us for the busy fall and holiday season too.
We are looking for someone who can work closing shifts, particularly 12-6pm during the week and 10-4 during the weekend. Candidates must have weekend availability and a Food Handler certification. Our operating hours in Winnetka are 7 am-5 pm on weekdays (Tuesday-Friday) and 7 am-3 pm on weekends (Saturday-Sunday). We are closed on Mondays. Additional shifts are available at our Evanston location too!

Qualifications:
Barista experience preferred
Customer Service experience
Retail experience
Ability to multitask and stay organized
Basic computer skills (must print out invoices and interpret production orders)
Ability to work well with a team
A positive and energetic attitude
Attention to detail
Ability to lift 40 lbs
