Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our growing team at Helping Homes Counseling & Wellness, where you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality behavioral healthcare services. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Helping Homes, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting individual and couples therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique needs of your clients.
  • Facilitating family therapy sessions to address relational dynamics, improve communication, and foster positive interactions among family members.
  • Assessing client needs and developing personalized treatment plans that encompass various mental health issues, including, but not limited to, alcohol abuse, grief and loss, and conflicts among family members.
  • Providing educational resources and coping strategies to clients, empowering them to manage challenges effectively.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment interventions using our advanced digital systems.
  • Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions to uphold clinical standards and share insights on best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will provide care to a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and family units facing various challenges. Key areas of focus include:

  • Addressing issues such as separation and divorce, grief and loss, blended family dynamics, and job-related stress.
  • Supporting families through difficulties with communication, conflicts, and psychological well-being.
  • Helping clients navigate life transitions and enhance their relational wellness.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Possess a valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential in Washington State.
  • Hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills that contribute to a supportive therapeutic environment.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in mental health practice.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
