Law firm seeks legal assistant or paralegal to provide high-level litigation support for one of its partners.  Candidate must have thorough knowledge of MS Word and Outlook (Excel and LEAP a plus), strong typing skills (at least 50 wpm), the ability to multitask, effective communication skills (both verbal and written), and a professional attitude.  Candidate must possess excellent time management and organizational skills and produce a high-quality, timely work product.  Compensation commensurate with job classification and experience. 

$45,000 - $55,000 depending on experience

• Typing correspondence, pleadings, indexes, etc.;

• Organizing files;

• Scheduling appointments, depositions, hearings, trials, etc.;

• Telephone and email communication with clients, clerks of court, opposing counsel, etc.;

• Billing; and

• Filing.

• Typing speed of at least 50 wpm

• Knowledge of MS Word;

• Strong communication skills;

• Multitasking skills; and

• Legal experience preferred, but not necessary.
