Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies for each client.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, families, groups, and couples, utilizing approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate effectively with a diverse healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, ensuring that all aspects of their health are addressed.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation and records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops and training sessions to enhance your expertise in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counseling services specifically target individuals and families facing a plethora of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, and relationship issues. Many of our clients lack access to conventional care services, making our role pivotal in bridging that gap and providing essential support.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• At least two years of experience in a clinical counseling environment, demonstrating proficiency in individual and group therapy.
• A keen understanding of legal and ethical standards within mental health practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with EMR software and use of technology to enhance client care.

Preferred Experience

• Specializations in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, and substance misuse treatment are highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, based on experience and caseload.
