Job description

Primary Care Physician Opportunity

Make a difference where it matters. HealthFirst Family Care Center is seeking a compassionate, collaborative Primary Care Physician to join our team and provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families in the communities we serve.

As a Federally Qualified Health Center, HealthFirst provides comprehensive primary care to patients throughout the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Our providers care for a diverse patient population and work alongside an experienced, multidisciplinary team committed to improving health, removing barriers to care, and building lasting relationships with our patients.

What You'll Do

As a Primary Care Physician at HealthFirst, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care focused on prevention, wellness, and management of acute and chronic conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's medical and psychosocial needs
  • Educate and counsel patients to help them actively participate in their health and wellness
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the care team
  • Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives
  • Serve as a clinical resource and support to members of the care team
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic health record
  • Participate in the clinic's on-call rotation as applicable
What We're Looking For
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Board certification
  • Current or eligible New Hampshire medical license
  • Current DEA registration
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A commitment to compassionate, respectful, patient-centered care
Why HealthFirst?

At HealthFirst, primary care is about more than treating illness. It's about building relationships, helping patients stay healthy, and making quality healthcare accessible to the communities that depend on us.

You'll join a mission-driven organization where your work has a direct impact on patients, families, and the health of our community.

Come practice medicine where your work matters — and where you can make a difference every day.
