Certified Dietary Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and distribution

• Manage and supervise dietary staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall dining experience for residents and patients

• Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive care services, including nutrition counseling and educational programs

• Conduct administrative tasks, such as budgeting, inventory management, and ordering supplies

• Maintain accurate records and documentation, including food production and inventory management

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe

• 1+ years of experience in a dietary or related field

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate staff

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, patients, and colleagues

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
