Hardscuffle, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support and partner with its family of businesses, including American Life and Accident Insurance Company of Kentucky, Ironwood Warranty Group, and Hardscuffle, Inc.

Position Summary

The Accounting Manager serves as a key contributor across a broad range of accounting functions, including:

  • Investment accounting

  • Revenue and expense accounting

  • Treasury activities

  • Financial reporting

  • Regulatory reporting support

This role assists with the preparation of quarterly and annual statutory financial statements and regulatory filings. The position works closely with senior leadership and plays an important role in supporting sound financial operations across the organization.

Beyond technical expertise, we seek an individual who will contribute positively to our collaborative culture and serve as a valued member of our team.

Qualified candidates will possess:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • CPA preferred
  • Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
