Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs and establish appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that prioritize clients' goals and progress through ongoing evaluation and adjustment.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities that align with best practices.
  • Advocate for clients by connecting them with community resources, support groups, and other services relevant to their mental health journey.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, case reviews, and professional development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base includes individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. As a Mental Health Counselor at Hadley House Counseling, you will work closely with clients who are often navigating significant life transitions, requiring sensitivity, understanding, and active listening to empower them throughout their healing process.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with our diverse client population.
  • A copy of current malpractice insurance is a prerequisite for this position.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community health setting or telehealth environment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and remote counseling tools.
  • Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions effectively.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
