Account Executive II

We are looking for an Account Executive II to join our Personal Lines team on a hybrid work schedule.

Job Purpose

We are seeking an Account Executive to manage a book of Middle Market clients, processing daily account activity.

Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining account folders in accordance with internal Quality Control guidelines
  • Check policy coverages and endorsement on all new business and renewals for accuracy and relevance
  • Complete specs, prepare proposals, policy summaries and reviews
  • Ability to use various online rating systems
  • Process endorsements, placement requests and invoicing: Credit, Debit, Monthly reports
  • Review policies for accuracy and adequacy of coverage, including rating calculations
  • Assist with Accounting department on research and justification of premium charges as compared with endorsements and invoices
  • Handle or refer insured's and underwriter's questions
  • Perform other specific duties as directed by the department manager &/or team leads Pursue a program of professional development

Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and research different lines of insurance
  • Good typing skills and computer literacy
  • Ability to work within designated time frames
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • College degree or relevant work experience
  • P&C License required

Required Skills:

  • Strong computer skills; Excel & Word a must
  • Applied Epic Experience Preferred
  • Required Experience: 3-5 years

The expected pay range for this position is $78,000 annually to $85,000 annually and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience, and work location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, and commissions for some positions.

Department Account Management & Service Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience Required Travel: Negligible Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
