Role Description The Laborer is a full-time, on-site role based in Crown Point, IN. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing general construction labor such as site cleanup, material handling, loading and unloading supplies, and assisting skilled tradespeople with basic tasks. The Laborer may help with demolition, preparation of work areas, moving tools and equipment, and keeping the jobsite organized and safe. This role also involves following directions from supervisors, adhering to safety procedures, and using hand and power tools as instructed. The position requires reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a crew in varying weather and site conditions.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and willingness to learn safe use of power tools.
• Understanding of or interest in construction, remodeling, or general contracting work.
• Commitment to safety practices and following written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable transportation to the Crown Point, IN jobsite and consistent attendance.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Previous construction or labor experience is beneficial but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
