Role Description The Apprentice Electrician role at Guided Current LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Dahlonega, GA. The apprentice will assist licensed electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial settings. Daily tasks may include running conduit, pulling wire, installing outlets and fixtures, and helping with panel work under supervision. The role also involves using hand and power tools, following electrical codes and safety procedures, and supporting troubleshooting efforts for electrical issues. The apprentice is expected to learn trade skills, follow instructions accurately, maintain a clean work area, and interact professionally with team members and customers.
Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of electricity and basic electrical principles.
• Ability to assist with electrical work, including installation and maintenance of wiring, fixtures, and panels.
• Skills in maintenance & repair and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
• Interest in or exposure to electrical engineering concepts related to power distribution and circuits.
• Strong commitment to safety, following instructions, and adherence to local and national electrical codes.
• Ability to work on-site in various environments, including attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor locations.
• Good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and ability to lift and carry tools and materials as needed.
• Effective communication skills and a willingness to learn from experienced electricians.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or enrollment in an electrical apprenticeship program is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Dahlonega, GA.
