Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, facilitating the creation of individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific circumstances.
• Facilitate therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, employing various evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Collaborate with clients to identify personal goals and track progress through measurable milestones, reinforcing strengths and addressing areas for improvement.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client documentation in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and organizational protocols, ensuring clarity and compliance.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional growth through participation in workshops, seminars, and case reviews to remain updated on best practices and regulatory changes in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele from various backgrounds, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. Our clinic serves adults, couples, and families, which provides a rich and varied experience for counselors in addressing a wide range of mental health conditions.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• An active Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in Vermont is essential for this position.
• Demonstrated experience working effectively with diverse populations, showcasing cultural competence and empathy.
• Solid understanding of and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic practices, with a commitment to client-centered care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for the building of strong therapeutic alliances with clients.
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a virtual team setting is essential.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience, preferably in a community health or outpatient setting.
• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for client sessions, demonstrating adaptability in a digital environment.
• Familiarity with integrating holistic approaches into therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to monetary compensation, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
