Guardian Angels Homecare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to join our team in Branford, CT. As a Caregiver with our organization, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with bathing, personal care, grooming, dressing, and undressing
• Support clients who cannot move on their own, including turning, positioning, and transferring
• Monitor skin care, observation, and treatment
• Ensure clients receive their medication on time and cue reminders
• Provide necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment and make beds
• Perform laundry, meal preparation, and planning according to clients' restrictions
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and grocery shopping
• Offer socialization, conversation, and emotional support

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year home care experience
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle
• Ability to perform housework and cooking
• Hoyer lift experience is a plus
• Well-organized and reliable
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Ability to read and write in English
• High school diploma or equivalent

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends

Salary: $17 - $19 HOURLY
