The Window Covering Installer is responsible for the professional installation of various types of window coverings, including blinds, shades, curtains/drapes, and shutters. This role involves working both independently and as part of small teams to complete installations across multiple sites daily, utilizing standard hand tools, power tools, and specialized measuring equipment. Attention to detail and customer service skills are essential to ensure high-quality results and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install window coverings such as blinds, shades, curtains/drapes, and shutters
• Handle products carefully during transport and installation to prevent damage
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on installed window coverings
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure installations meet company standards
• Manage inventory of installation materials and tools
• Travel to multiple installation sites daily, working solo or in small teams
• Use standard hand tools, power tools, and specialized measuring equipment effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in window covering installation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Manual dexterity and proficiency with hand and power tools
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and effective time management
• Physical stamina to handle installation demands
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
