Job description

Grand Canyon University is seeking an Assistant to support the mission of Grand Canyon University through GCU's Dance department.
Purpose within the Organization:
The purpose of this position is to assist the College of Fine Arts and Production Dance Department by helping with administrative duties.
Responsibilities Related to Purpose:
  • Schedule and support departmental events
  • Maintain lists of internship, performance, and study opportunities for students
  • Communicate with area schools and dance organizations
  • Manage department photo and video archives
  • Coordinate a range of efforts with clubs and learning communities

Qualifications:
  • Sophomore or Junior
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Has self-direction
  • Able to take initiative
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Positive attitude and friendly demeanor
  • Customer service experience

Education:
Grand Canyon University/Grand Canyon Education is committed to a student first policy.
Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
  • Maintain good financial standing with the University.

You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
Anticipated End Date: June 30, 2027
