JOB SUMMARYย 

TheShippingand Receiving Clerkwillย be responsible forย coordinating overall shipping and receiving duties for an assigned location.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSย 
  • Conduct shipping/receiving for shipping, including picking product, labeling, packaging product, andย facilitating scheduling shipment using the routing guidelines
  • Load and unload trucks, vans or other transportation vehicles with boxes or materials
  • Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements, including product identification, packaging, carriers, routing and billing requirements
  • Ensure the appropriate workย environment organization,ย housekeeping and cleanliness
  • Maintain inventory management and assist with physical inventory
  • Perform related job duties as assigned

REQUIREDย QUALIFICATIONS ย 
  • High School diploma or equivalent isย required
  • Minimumof 1 yearof relevant experience in shipping/receiving in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Prior experience with forklift, issuing material, sheet destructionย and vault issuance of materials
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and teamwork mentality
  • Understanding and willingness to follow safety and quality control procedures
  • Willingness to work at least 40 hoursย per week plus occasional overtime as needed
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Strong planning, organizational and counting skills along with flexibility and the ability to make decisions
  • Willingness to take part in our background check and drug test process
  • Ability to lift upย toย 50 poundย boxes ย 
ย  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENTย 
  • Requiresย sitting at a desk in front of a computer screen for 8 or more hours per day
  • Requires visual acuity to operateย a computer, read a computer screen, read policies and manuals
  • Requires manual dexterity to operateย a computer, phone, fax, scannerย 

Pay ranges from $18-$20/hour, based on the role, level, and shift.
