Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Laborer role based in Kokomo, IN. The General Laborer will assist with a variety of construction tasks, including site preparation, material handling, cleanup, and basic use of hand and power tools under supervision. Daily responsibilities may include loading and unloading materials, setting up and breaking down work areas, and supporting skilled trades professionals (such as carpenters or concrete workers) as needed. The role requires following safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organized job site, and completing assigned tasks efficiently. The General Laborer is expected to be punctual, able to work outdoors in varied weather conditions, and prepared to perform physically demanding labor throughout the workday.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods; comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic familiarity with construction tools and equipment, or willingness to learn proper use of hand and power tools under supervision.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety procedures; ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate tasks with supervisors and coworkers; respectful and professional behavior on job sites.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is beneficial but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Kokomo, IN area are highly desirable.
• Willingness to complete any required safety training and comply with company and regulatory standards.
