Job Title: Assembler Mechanical Technician

Location: Papillion, NE

Salary Compensation: $20-25 per hour | $41,000 - $52,000 annually (Salary commensurate with experience.)

Shift: Early day shift - Monday - Friday; Some overtime offered when needed.

Job Type: Direct hire/ full time job

Key Responsibilities

· Perform mechanical assembly of structural components and integrated systems of varying sizes.

· Complete electrical installations, including wiring connections according to detailed specifications.

· Operate hand tools, power tools, drills, impacts, and grinders safely and efficiently.

· Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and production orders.

· Use precision measurement devices to ensure accuracy and quality standards.

· Connect color-coded wiring and verify proper functionality.

· Collaborate with supervisors and engineering teams to resolve design or assembly issues.

· Review and validate input from multiple departments to meet customer requirements.

· Communicate any necessary changes to maintain consistency in future production.

· Support and promote quality initiatives, including 5S workplace organization and continuous improvement efforts.

· Adhere to all safety, environmental, and organizational policies.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED required.

· One to three months of related experience preferred.

· Ability to read and interpret documents, production orders, drawings, diagrams, and written instructions.

· Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and use a tape measure accurately.

· Good reasoning skills with the ability to follow instructions and address standardized problems.

· Willingness to complete internal certification training for material handling equipment, including forklift and overhead crane operation as required.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

· Standing for extended periods, frequent walking, reaching, and regular lifting/moving of heavy items.

· Ability to perform overhead work, pull cable, and work safely around moving mechanical parts.

· Good vision required, including color vision and depth perception.

· Work environment may include occasional humidity, airborne particles, and moderate noise levels.
