We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Edge Global Rehab Clinic in Herndon, Virginia. Work Environment

Your primary workspace will be onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Herndon, Virginia, where you will work a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. Our clinic is designed to promote healing and collaboration, and you will be joining a team of passionate professionals who are dedicated to advancing the standard of care through innovative methods and compassionate support.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Assess patients' conditions through thorough evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with referrals from physicians.
• Implement and monitor therapeutic programs encompassing a variety of specialties, including but not limited to orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring excellence in customer service and patient satisfaction.
• Utilize modern, evidence-based treatment methodologies that contribute effectively to superior patient outcomes.
• Provide skilled therapeutic care, whether in-clinic or during home visits, tailored to the specific needs outlined in the physician's plan.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, empowering them with knowledge about their care and promoting active participation in their recovery.
• Work cohesively with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient recovery results.
• Pursue continuous professional growth and meet practice objectives, including utilization goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Edge Global Rehab Clinic, you will work with a diverse population, treating patients with a range of orthopedic injuries, chronic pain conditions, and post-operative recovery needs. Our pediatric services also address developmental and sports-related injuries. This rich diversity will enable you to enhance your clinical skills, broaden your expertise, and connect with patients from various backgrounds, fostering a rewarding therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Basic Life Support Certification from a recognized organization such as the American Heart Association.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
• Competence in word processing and computer applications relevant for patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

While a Bachelor’s Degree is a prerequisite, candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy will be given preference. Additional experience in orthopedics or sports medicine will bolster your application, as well as any prior exposure to community engagement or patient education initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
