SUMMARY
The Driver will be responsible for delivering and unloading product to the customer.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Loading and unloading orders using a hand truck
- Greet customer, maintain professional relationship, and provide excellent customer service
- Close and lock all bays when not in use and keep keys in your possession while servicing the account
- Have invoice signed by customer for proof of delivery
- Complete all scheduled deliveries in an efficient manner
- Communicate with management regarding any delivery issues
- Safely operate a company owned delivery truck
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
- Must be a team player as measured by his/her peers
- Performs other related duties assigned
Requirements
REQUIRED
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent attendance record
- 2 to 3 years driving experience
- Forklift certification or recent experience
- Valid in-state driver's license
- Must have a good driving record (no more than 2 violations in 5 years)
- Ability to safely lift and carry packages of various shapes, sizes, and weight
- Ability to logistically plan routes
- Ability to safely lift, push and pull 50 pounds or more
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude a must
DESIRED
- Class A Driver's License
- Experience in loading/unloading
- Knowledge of general vehicle maintenance
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
