Role Description The Structural Steel Welder will perform welding and fabrication of structural steel components according to engineering drawings and project specifications. Day-to-day tasks include setting up welding equipment, preparing and fitting steel materials, executing welds on beams, columns, and other structural elements, and inspecting completed work to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards. The role also involves reading and interpreting technical plans, collaborating with fabricators and site supervisors, and maintaining tools and work areas in good condition. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Metro Manila, requiring consistent presence at the workshop and project locations.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong core welding skills, including Welding, Arc Welding, MIG Welding, and TIG Welding.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Materials, particularly structural steel properties and appropriate welding procedures.
• Candidates should possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with safety regulations, PPE use, and safe handling of welding equipment.
• Candidates should possess good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and the ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as required.
• Candidates should possess relevant welding certifications or vocational training; experience in structural or industrial fabrication is highly beneficial.
• Candidates should possess strong teamwork and communication skills, with a focus on reliability, punctuality, and quality workmanship.
